Streetlights

Powercor Network owns and operates streetlights within our distribution area and we are Victoria's largest public lighting service provider, servicing more than 130,000 streetlights for 38 municipal councils and VicRoads.

We are committed to maintaining the highest of standards of street lighting quality and reliability, and will attend to the faulty streetlights we are responsible for as soon as practicable when notified of their condition.

Customers can assist us in keeping streetlights in top working order by reporting faulty lights directly to Powercor. You can report the exact address of damaged streetlights through the online form below, or on our 24 hour Service Faults and Difficulties telephone line on 13 24 12

Should you require a new street light in your local area, please contact your local council through the list below. Your local council is responsible for the authorisation and payment of charges for all the street lights within your municipality. Your local council will then liaise with Powercor Australia for the installation of any new street light.
